What a drummer ray is no where near
Que bestia por favorrrrrrr
One of the best drummers of all time and the driving force of Korn's sound never been the same since he left
David suena bien, pero David no tiene ni el 1% del Talento que tiene Ray Luzier ❤
Matt Holt was a fuckin legend
How tall is cameron?
Can we all agree that Life Is Peachy was the best album for David’s Drumming
I honestly think it’s everyone at the top of their game. Life is Peachy is like the perfect transition between that vulnerable and aggressive sound from self titled and the more “mainstream” digestible sound they had on FTL and onward. I’ve never listened to anything by Korn that hit me like LiP did
Im a fan of the first but porno creep and mr rodgers are two of my fav drumming tracks ever.
Sensacional
👍
0:34 One Thing 5:28 Goldtooth 10:45 Breathe Out 14:12 Villains 18:48 Pacifier 23:45 Grinning 27:23 The Sick 32:30 Perfect Person
I always come back to this. He’s still the best drummer for Korn.
Thats where he create the Nu metal sound!
David made that Korn vibe and it’s irreplaceable, but in terms of skill ray is a lot better, but Korn wasn’t the same
❤❤❤❤ recuerdo Cuando tenia como 7 años viendo esta serie a las 4pm 😍😍🥺🥺
They'll never sound like this again. Gutted
Love Ray but David just fits so much better. I feel like Ray at times is holding back his drumming and kinda just going with the song unfortunately
Drank, smoked hung out with them only many occasions. Maryland/DC boys. Still one of my favorite bands ever. My bff married the new drummer.
Korn one done once this guy left. They lost so much of what made them sound different that everyone else.
Silvera was a phenom 🤯
16:54 wow
После ухода Давида Силверия музыка Korn стала полнейшим дерьмом.
Groovy.🤘
Seamless, his stall/stops (for a split second) in intervals of songs are so commanding and on point.
And people that lack built in metronomes think he was off time. No click track and the song remains the same length each time. I dont see the logic.
✊🏾
QUE BANDA FD!!
Its not korn with out david.. its not realy the same when he left the band ...man korn was just diffrent wen he was on that kit... its never gonna be the same.
This guy and Ben from silverchair hit so dammm hard
El mejor
Mis respetos a este vergas
piolita
David is Korn, I remember buying their 2007 album and it just wasn't the same, I had to re-check to see if it was Korn, because it sounded so different, they haven't been the same sense. Those first 2 albums where glorious.
Monstro sagrado demais
I hate how that it seems the only available footage like this, the camera operator decided to try and channel Steven Spielberg. Can someone invent time travel already so I tell them to just try and capture the session.
Ojala volviera David a Korn e hicieran un album con Ross Robinson
This crowd did not deserve the brilliance that was Nothingface.
David’s style - heavy when needed and laid back breakbeat grooves. The best - can’t stand watching Ray over play on everything like he’s the only ever drummer to exist in korn
Ray adds a bunch of shit fills on crap

David was a beast drummer in his prime. Really sad about his fall out with the rest of the band though.. wish he never left 😞
Was that the guy from sugar ray
Im not gonna lie I discovered nothingface late in my life. I've only been a fan for about 5 years. But holy shit sounds exactly like the record. Rip Matt 😢
Eskiden herşey daha güzeldi...
These live vids are closed thing I have to watching them live 😭😭😭😭 RIP Matt Holt I never got the chance to see Nothingface in person.
Que homelander ahí 🤔
What is that type of cymbal called in 8:57
China cymbal
Awesome drumming! Camera man was stoned or smth, lol, thinking that playing with that one damn filter is a good idea
Sucks that I will never see them live 😢
David was a beast but at this time In their lifes Ray will mop the floor with david
We can say for a long time that David was a super drummer. He really was. But his virtuoso, creative playing gradually degraded with each album. But I have the greatest respect for his drumming. An incredible creativity and groove.
I never drummed I never listen t
A lesson in real drumming! If anyone were to programme this performance in a computer programme you would not achieve this performance at all. My ears detect the very slight and nuanced timing phasing inaccuraties in his playing here which , while near perfect throughout, happens frequently enough but only within tiny fragments of the overall performance. Infact, I compared this take and the original record release and I can say confidently that this take was the one comprising most of the recording release edit. the proudest thing for me about David Silveria as a studio drummer is that his work was clearly un edited. I have done studio work and had my drumming beat corrected to the precise quarter note pulse via software which all left my edited performance sounding robotic and lifeless. My playing was edited like auto tune is for singers. What I heard in the final result just wasn't me or my intended performance. If bad timing was a huge issue with me then why didn't the band just get any old drummer to play any old shit for the beat software to correct perfectly anyway and cheaper? The answer was that the producer wanted the original drummers ideas but with a beat perfect sound that suited the style of that band for the record! I could play the human thing but not the robotic, the producer created the happy medium but I wasn't happy(privately) as my nuances were lost in the edit. Silveria though didn't lose his nuances and to all of our benifit! His feel and groove on those records are entirely his! You'd be surprised how many of your favourite records which have drummers you love and admire but that are actually beat corrected and post edited end products. I've listened to all of David Silveria's work with Korn until his exit. All are his real and natural takes. Our ears hear and adore his amazing grooves! Computers would have ruined it. Computers maybe hadn't ruined me, perhaps helps me. I cannot tell you that with my bias. But I can testify David would have been ruined by computers and thank god we got his true takes and work!
